The Zionist Federation UK and the Mizrachi Federation UK are the UK affiliates of the World Zionist Organization (WZO)

- Election Dates: 6 July – 10 July 2025 ending at 6pm

ELECTIONS TO THE 39TH WORLD ZIONIST CONGRESS
This election gives Jews around the world a chance to influence Israel’s governance and represents the single biggest opportunity for UK Jews to influence the future of our people for the better.
Following approved registration, you will be entitled to vote in the UK elections to the World Zionist Congress between in 6 - 10 July 2025.
The ZF advocates for and supports Zionism in the United Kingdom, strengthening the Jewish community's engagement with Zionism in a modern context. It fosters dialogue and collaboration among Zionist organisations through its network and serves as the primary hub for Zionist resources in the UK.
The Zionist Federation UK (ZF) and the Mizrachi Federation UK are the UK affiliates of the WZO. The election process is overseen by the UK Area Election committee, co-chaired by David Regal MBE and David Reuben. The ZF acts as the secretariat for the elections.
The chair of the Board of Directors of the ZF is Rabbi Lea Mühlstein.
Election Timeline:
- 28 Feb 2025: Deadline for new organisations to apply for federation membership.
- 1 April 2025: Deadline for registrations of slates.
- 8 April 2025: Deadline for outstanding dues and registrations of details for all slates.
- 8 April – 20 May 2025: Voter registration.
- 6 - 10 July 2025: Voting period.
Who Can Vote?
To be eligible, you must:
- have personally registered to vote
- have personally paid for your registration
- have received confirmation that your registration has been approved
Please note that proxy registration and voting is strictly prohibited. Voting on behalf of another person is a breach of the election rules and may lead to disqualification of the vote.

Voter registration has now closed. Voting will open for approved voters on 6 July at 8am.

WZO Election Slates
In accordance with the Rules for the 2025 United Kingdom Election to the 39th World Zionist Congress, only organisations that are members in good standing of the Mizrachi Federation or the Zionist Federation UK are eligible to run slates. Two or more organisations eligible to run a slate, may run on a joint slate.
