In a global world, Zionism faces global challenges. Jews who live outside Israel have a huge role to play. 

The Israel Solidarity Campaign is a vibrant, modern, virtual and physical global hub for supporting Israel from diaspora communities. We recognise that aliya is not for everyone – but that doesn’t mean they can’t play a full role in the Zionist endeavour.

Israel Solidarity Campaign is the UK affiliate of the non-party, non-religiously aligned ‘Over the Rainbow’ network of Zionist organisations. We believe that WZO resources and funds should be moved away from the historic political and religious factions and instead, invested around the world to fight antisemitism, anti-Zionism, BDS and challenges to Israel’s legitimacy. Rather than funding jobs for failed former Israeli politicians and being wasted on internal factionalism, WZO resources should be invested to strengthen Zionist activism around the world. Since its formation in 2014, as part of this coalition the Israel Solidarity Campaign has led and supported Israel advocacy campaigns; been active in the fight against boycotts; organised policy conferences for key political leaders; funded and run ISRAction days; and maintained an online network of proud Zionist activists. We have fostered networks and events for young Zionist leaders helping them to self-organise to support Israel – free from political, religious and ideological baggage. We have branches around the world, in the USA, Europe, Africa and Israel itself.

At previous Congresses we have built consensus around resolutions and proposals to slash the wasteful bureaucracy inside the WZO; to end the closed-door factional deals to carve up the key jobs along political and religious lines; to deliver initiatives to enfranchise the growing number of Jews and Zionists who don’t affiliate to any institution. These resolutions have been opposed and blocked by the self-interested political and religious factions. By lending some of your votes to us you can be part of future and ensure that these changes are not blocked once again.

Even if you are voting for some of the old traditional political or religious factions, or supporting your former youth movement, please lend some of your votes to the Israel Solidarity Campaign to help modernise the WZO and support our work to ensure its resources make the kind of difference our UK pro-Israel community needs.
